I began teaching at Walnut Grove Secondary in 1992. In that time, I've taught English 8-12 AP, Literature 12, and Junior drama. I have a Masters in Education, with a focus on making students safe and inclusive for all students. I have been fortunate enough to sit on several Provincial Exam committees for both Literature 12 and English 12.
By the end of each school year, my intention is that each student is confident in his/her writing abilities, is able to discuss literature with confidence, and - most importantly - has experienced a fun and engaging journey through the world that is my English classroom.
